Reminder

Please call the nurse’s office at (732) 525-5237 to repot a child’s absence and not the main office.  A doctor’s note is required for any child who is absent for 5 consecutive days or more.

 Medication Policy

Taking any medication including, over the counter medications such as cough drops or cough medication requires a written prescription from your child’s doctor.  Forms can be obtained from the nurse’s office.

Medication must have the pharmacy label with the child’s name and the name of the medication on it.  Also, a parent or adult must bring the medication to school.  It is dangerous to send a child to school with medication in their backpack, as it might get misplaced or another child might inadvertently take it.

If you have any questions regarding medications please feel free to call the school nurse at (732) 525-5237
